NFL:
- In a day that saw a lot of deals being reached, Arian Foster's deal with the Houston Texans kicked things off as they agreed on a $43.5 million, five year contract.
- In other Houston Texans news, they have not had serious talks with their next target, who is Mario Williams.
- The Buffalo Bills and WR Stevie Johnson agreed to a $36.25 million, five year deal.
- Brett Favre is happy that "bounty-gate" has come on the spotlight as he was one of the victims of it.
- Peyton Manning's neck injury could have come in a game against the Washington Redskins and Gregg Williams was in the Redskins team so "bounty-gate" might have something to do with it.
- The St. Louis Cardinals are not interested in recently cut WR Hines Ward.

- Robert Mathis was franchised by the Colts and later the two agreed on a long term deal.
- Cornerback Domonique Foxworth is out of Baltimore as the Ravens cut him.

NBA:
- Keith Smart is a smart man and a good coach and that's why the Sacramento Kings gave him an extension.
- Bill Walker of the New York Knicks will be out for 4 to 6 weeks after undergoing elbow surgery.
- The Portland Trail-Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers have been in talks concerning PG Raymond Felton.
- Jamal Crawford is also being shopped around by Portland.
- The Denver Nuggets have placed Chris Andersen on the trading block.
- In a move that could effect trade talks, Brook Lopez of the Nets has been injured and will be out for 3 weeks. Bye-bye Dwight Howard?

- Bad news keep coming for New York Mets fans as their owners will have to give away $83 million because of the on-going trial.
