NFL:
  • The Miami Dolphin's #1 target right now is Peyton Manning and they are not showing interested in QB Matt Flynn right now.
  • Richard Seymour and Michael Huff have restructured their contracts to create cap space for the Oakland Raiders.
  • In other Oakland news, they are excepted to release linebacker Kamerion Wimbley. Good or bad move?
  • Running-back Ahmad Bradshaw underwent foot surgery as he hasn't healed yet from the injury that bothered him throughout the year.
  • Drew Brees won't sign the franchise-tender and will start missing work-outs if the two sides don't agree on a deal.
  • Superbowl Champion Eli Manning also restructured his contract to create some cap space. Message received Mario Manningham?
  • A lot of teams have contacted Peyton Manning which include the Chiefs, Dolphins, Redskins and Cardinals. You can check off the Browns off that list as they are not interested and maybe the Redskins as he doesn't want to play for them.
  • Adam Schefter of ESPN.com says that Manning will pick a team within the next week and he would prefer an AFC team to an NFC team.
  • Cortland Finnegan is recruiting Vincent Jackson to join him in his new team according to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports. His new team could be the Bucs.
NBA:
  • Atlanta Hawks fans, you might face a problem. According to the Atlanta Journal - Constitution, All-Star Power-Forward Josh Smith has requested a trade. So where do you see him going? Boston maybe? Or will they trade him to the Western Conference?
  • According to CBSSports.com the Indiana Pacers and Portland Trail-Blazers are talking about a trade that would send Jamal Crawford to Indiana.
  • Dwayne Wade and Lebron James are trying to recruit Peyton Manning to the Dolphins. Maybe Lebron should recruit for the Browns. Ha.
  • The New York Knicks are on a three game losing streak and a lot of people blame the defense for that. I blame Carmelo Anthony.
  • Rasheed Wallace worked out for the Miami Heat. Next Eddy Curry? I mean this in the revive a career way because Curry is really a special case.
  • Players who could be traded during the deadline feature Chris Kaman, Pau Gasol, Michael Beasley, Jamal Crawford and Dwight Howard.
MLB:
  • Slow-news day for MLB.
  • Should we expect a return to form for White Sox player Adam Dunn this year? He homered and double against the Rangers. But of course this is just Spring training.
  • Jonathan Papelbon said that Phillies fans are smarter than Red Sox fans. I don't like neither of them so don't ask me.
  • David Robertson of the Yankees injured himself after falling from stairs. His injury could be serious.
  • In other injury news, David Price injured his neck while wiping his head with a towel. The second time that happens to him.
Soccer:
  • In Europa League action the biggest upset came from Atletico Bilbao as they made a comeback and beat Manchester United in Old Trafford 3-2. Both Manchester teams lost as City lost to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal 1-0. Here are the scores of the other games: Atletico Madrid 3 - 1 Besiktas, Twente 1 - 0 Schalke, Metalist 0 - 1 Olympiakos, Alkmaar 2 - 0 Udinese, Standard Liege 2 - 2 Hannover, Valencia 4 - 2 PSV Eindhoven.
