• Hines Ward news: He said that he is willing to restructure his contrat as he wants to retire a Pittsburgh Steeler.

NBA:

• Today I am going to introduce the Linsanity meter as this has been going on for a week now and it looks like it will continue. The Linsanity meter is a meter that shows how linsane Lin's perfomance was. Linsanity Meter vs T'Wolves : 50% he scored 20 points but it was not his best game.
• The Nuggets snapped out of their 5 game losing streak by beating the Indiana Pacers.

NHL:

• The Montreal Canadiens thrashed the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-0. And the message couldn't be clearer for the Maple Leafs, they need to trade for a good defender.
• The Rangers beat Philly once again, this time 5-2 as the Rangers Captain, Ryan Callahan scored a hat-trick. My take? You Can't Beat Us.

MLB:

•  Not any news on the Pirates - Yankees trade for AJ Burnett but I see it happening sometime this week as the Yankees want to offload him and the Pirates seem like the only suitor right now.
• Update on the Yoennis Cespedes contract offer from the Marlins:

Soccer:

• Ivory Coast and Zambia meet in the African Cup of Nations Final. Don't expect any surprises as the Elephants should be crowned Champions. In other news that concern this tournament, Ghana was stun once again as they lost the 3rd place match to Mali 2-0.
• Premier League Roundup: Manchester United beat Liverpool 2-1 as they are still in contention for the title, Everton shocks and Chelsea 2-0 and makes the Blues fall down to 5th place in the table as Arsenal beat Sunderland.
• Ligua BBVA : Osasuna upset Barcelona 3-2, while Real Betis beat Atletico Bilbao 2-1 and Racing  Satander and Atletico Madric had a draw. (0-0)
• Suarez of Liverpool did not shake Patrice Evra's hand at the start of the game as the two have a history as he was banned for apparently calling Evra by a racist name. What a classless move by Luis Suarez once again. (Video Below)
