NFL:
- The 2012 Cap Space will be $102.6 Million. Concerning cap space the Cincinnati Bengals are going into free-agency with almost $50 million cap space. Two teams lost cap space, they are the Dallas Cowboys who lost $10 million and the Washington Redskins who lost $36 million because of them dumping salaries in the 2010 salary-cap less season.
- The sweepstakes for Peyton Manning are led by the Arizona Cardinals and the Denver Broncos while other teams in play are the Miami Dolphins, the Tennessee Titans and believe it or not, the Houston Texans.
- If Peyton Manning lands in Denver it is expected that Tim Tebow will get traded from the team. Let the riots begin.
- The teams that lead the Vincent Jackson sweepstakes are the Washington Redskins, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears.
- The Chicago Bears are also in on Mario Williams if the Houston Texans cannot work out a deal with him.
- The Detroit Lions cleared out some cap space as they restructured the contracts of Matthew Stafford Ndamukong Suh and Nate Burleson.
- Alex Smith and the San Francisco 49ers are closing in on deal. In other 49ers news, Randy Moss will try out for the team and the person throwing to him will be Jim Harbaugh. UPDATE: Randy Moss has signed with the 49ers.
- Santonio Holmes is apparently very happy with the Mark Sanchez extension. Yeah. Right.
- Offensive-tackle Eric Winston is now a free-agent as he was cut the Houston Texans.
MLB:
- Yoennis Cespedes had a very impressive Spring Training debut as he homered, walked and singled in a run. Not bad, not bad.
- The Toronto Blue Jays are interested in Chicago White Sox pitcher Gavin Floyd.
- Jason Pridie who signed a minor league deal with the Athletics has been suspended for 50 games by the MLB for drug abuse.
- Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves doesn't know if he will be able to go through the whole year.
- Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher AJ Burnett is recovering rapidly from his injury.
Predicting tonight's games:
- NBA
- Heat over Magic
- Cleveland over Toronto
- Pacers over Trail Blazers
- Memphis over Los Angeles (Lakers)
- Thunder over Rockets
- Dallas over Washington
- Hawks over Nuggets
- Golden State over Sacramento
- NHL
- Capitals over Islanders
- Philadelphia over New Jersey
- Rangers over Hurricanes
- Boston over Tampa Bay
- Maple Leafs over Panthers
- Minnesota over Dallas
- Blues over Blackhawks
- San Jose over Calgary

Noteworthy thing of the day:
- The Washington Redskins paid more for Robert Griffin the IIIrd by trading so many picks than the Atlanta Falcons did for Michael Vick and the New York Giants for Eli Manning. That's a steep price but if you are looking for a franchise quarterback it might be worth it.
