NFL:
  • Robert Griffin III said to the Associated Press that he will vow at the NFL Combine. Who do you think will be the first quarterback to be drafted in the draft?
  • John Fox says that that he wants the team two more quarterbacks to compete with Tim Tebow reports Mike Klis. If all he does is win, why do you want to give him competition?
  • The Kansas City Chiefs and cornerback Routt agreed to a three year deal worth $19.6 million.
NBA:
  • Ginobili will not see any NBA action for the next two weeks as he suffered a oblique strain.
  • Rajon Rondo has been banned for two games for throwing a ball at a referee at the game against the Pistons two days ago.
  • Surprise! Greg Oden is going to get another surgery... You have to feel for the former #1 pick and for Blazers fans who could have gotten Kevin Durant and instead got a guy who is always injured.
  • Gilbert Arenas says that he talks to Jeremy Lin once a week. Good news for Knicks fans as Arenas is a good Point Guard but he has a troubled character.
  • Derrick Rose returned from injury and scored 23 to help the Bulls beat the Hawks on Sunday night,  79-90.
  • Carmelo Anthony returned to the Knicks Monday night and guess what? The Knicks lost. Of course Deron Williams exploded scoring a dozen of three-pointers but Jeremy Lin was Linsane as he scored 21 and got 9 assists, so what do you think was missing or not missing from this Knicks team? Baron Davis finally made his debut as a Knickerbocker.
NHL:
  • The Ottawa Senators destroyed the New York Islanders 6-0 as they scored twice in 27 seconds! Erik Karlsson got two goals and two assists, Jason Spezza added two other goals and the goalie Craig Anderson got a shutout.
  • In the only other game of the day the Carolina Hurricanes got an easy win against Washington as they beat them 5-0 with goals from Faulk, Stewart, Nodl and Staal (2) as Peeters got the shutout.
MLB:
  • Mariano Rivera has decided on when he will retire but won't say anything to the media. I say that if the Yanks win the World-Series this year, Mariano will call it a career and that even if they don't he will because it looks like he doesn't want to say anything to avoid media crazyness.
  • Prince Fielder and Albert Pujols reported to their new teams camps. It feels so weird to see them in another uniform!
  • Manny Ramirez has signed a $500 thousand minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics. Bay Area prepare to witness Manny being Manny.
  • It looks like the Yankees have found their DH. Today they signed Raul Ibanez to a one year deal that with the incentives could reach $4 million. The Yankees will likely sign Eric Chavez next.

Predicting tonight's games:
  • NBA
  • Cavaliers over Pistons
  • Indiana over New Orleans
  • Kings over Heat
  • Philly over Memphis
  • Spurs over Blazers
  • NHL
  • Sabres over Islanders
  • Toronto over New Jersey

Noteworthy thing of the day:

In Saturday's game the Oklahoma City Thunder actually broke 12 records! Well you must be doing good as a team if you break twelve records in one night. Ibaka broke four of those records because of his blocks!
