- Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks are working on a multi-year deal and if they can't reach a deal Seattle will use its franchise tag.
- Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports says that Irsay want Peyton Manning out and Andrew Luck in, talk about having no respect for a quarterback that gave so much to your team.
- Mario Manningham is looking like a player who won't be with the Giants next year as he said that there is a 75% chance of him leaving for another team and CBSSports.com reports that he might look to join former Giants quarterback coach Mike Sullivan in Tampa Bay. I will never understand why he would leave a team that just won a championship and is in New York for a team that hasn't done much in the past few years.
- In other Giants news Umenyiora will take less to stay with the Champions.
- Terrell Owens had a very good start in the IFL as he scored three touchdowns. Impressive...
- Robert Griffin the III has been impressing a lot at the NFL Combine with very good times.
- Kevin Durant apparently heard my idea and wants teammate Westbrook, James, Wade and Rose to participate in the dunk contest.
- Wilson Chandler got released from his Chinese team a week ago but has not gotten clearance from FIBA so he is stuck. Which team do you think will pick him up after he gets cleared to come back? He is currently a restricted free-agent and the Denver Nuggets have his rights.
- Dwight Howard trade-talk is heating up and according to the New York Post the Los Angeles Lakers offered Andrew Bynum but the Magic don't want him.
- The record for most points at the half in an All-Star game were 87 until yesterday when the Western All-Stars scored 88 points! Another record that was surpassed was Kobe Bryant passing Michael Jordan for most total points scored in All-Star history as he passed 261.
- Guess who choked once again in crunch time? Oh yes it was Lebron James as he missed a shot and made a bad pass in the final minute of the All-Star game as the Eastern All-Stars lost 152-149 as Kevin Durant had 36 points, Dwayne Wade had the 3rd triple-double ever in the All-Star game as he had 24-10 and 10. Despite missing shots in the end you gotta give it to James for having a very good game with 36 points. Of course the MVP is Durant. Kurt Helin makes a great point:
- The Anaheim Ducks beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 Sunday night as they are not stopping climbing the Western Conference standings.
- Tampa Bay might have been embarrassed when they lost 8-1 to the Penguins Friday but they bounced back by beating the Devils 4-3 as Martin St. Louis had a hat-trick.
- The Penguins stayed hot as they beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2 in what could have been Rick Nash's final game as Blue Jacket captain.
- In a thriller the Dallas Stars won their 4th game in a row as they beat the Vancouver Canucks 2-3 in overtime. The game-winning goal came from Loui Eriksson, he also recorded an assist.
- The Rick Nash to the Rangers rumor has been killed as Columbus has asked for too much reports Darren Dreger. I think that these talks will go on as I don't see Columbus trading Nash at summer. While this rumor has been killed the Nash To the Predators has been heating up.
- Catcher Bengie Molina officially retired after not having played all of 2011.
- Very good news for New York Mets as Johan Santana threw 72 pitches in Mets training camp.
- The Cincinnati Reds and Sean Marshall are discussing a multi-year extension reports Jon Morosi.
- Minnesota Twins pitcher Joel Zumaya will miss the year as he suffered a torn UCL. Sad story. :(
- Another important Cleveland Indian suffered an injury after Grady Sizemore. This time it's the closer Chris Perez who will be out 4 to 6 weeks with a strained left oblique.
- Here is an interesting baseball fact:

- The League Cup Champions are Liverpool after beating Cardiff City 3-2 in a penalty shootout as the game could not be decided in regular time or overtime. Cardiff had a lot of chances to win this game but in the end of the day Liverpool hoisted the trophy.
