Friday February 10th Top Sports News

NFL:
  • Rob Gronkowski undergoes ankle surgery. It didn't look like at bothered him that much when dancing to LMFAO. Gronkowski's Playlist: "I'm ringless and I know it", "Sorry for Losing", "Superbowl Loser Anthem", "No" and "Put That Ankle to Work".

  • Stanfourd Routt (CB) is getting interest from the Titans and Bills after he was released by the Raiders yesterday. Talk about getting interest from the best teams.
NBA:
  • Tonight Jeremy Lin wants to prove once again for real and if the Knick beat the Lakers, you know that he is for real because the Knicks usually can never beat the Lakers. As the New York Post noted today, "May the Best Man Lin".
NHL:
  • The Scott Gomez goal drought finally stops at 368 days as he scored against the Islander yesterday night! Well that's a sign that the end of the world is coming.
MLB:
  • Luis Ayala signs with the Baltimore Orioles. Best signing of the free-agency.
  • Talks between the Yankees and Pirates about A.J. Burnett are developing. Are the Pirates nuts? Well at least it will be good for the Yanks.
Soccer:
  • Ryan Giggs re-signs with Manchester United for one more year as it will his 22nd straight year as a player of the Red Devils.
  • Real Madrid is showing interest for Arsenal's striker, Van Persie. It looks like yet another captain will probably move to Spain.

  • Santiago Bernabeu might host the Copa del Rey final between Athletico Bilbao and Barcelona. What a nightmare for Real Madrid fans.
