      NFL:
      • The New York Giants are losing a lot of players this offseason as Brandon Jacobs has signed the 49ers and playoff hero Devin Thomas has signed with the Chicago Bears. If you are a Giants fan, don't be bothered as the Giants have lost a lot of players in the past free-agency seasons usually played well.
      NBA:
      • The New York Knicks made a statement Tuesday night as they beat the Orlando Magic in MSG 106-86 as Carmelo probably had one of his best games as a Knick. The Knicks will be without the services of Amar'e Stoudemire for 2-4 weeks because of a bulging disk.
      • (Updating)
      MLB:
      • MLB season has kicked-off! The Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland A's in Japan 3-1. Ichiro had four-hits and Dustin Ackley gave the Mariners the go ahead run in the 11th inning. They play their second game early morning tomorrow.
      • You can rejoice Los Angeles Dodgers fans! Frank McCourt is out as owner of the team as Magic Johnson and his group bought the historic franchise for $2 billion. This looks like one of the best outcomes the Dodger's ownership could have had.
        Soccer:
        • In definitely one of the best games we have seen this season, Barcelona and AC Milan played against each other on Tuesday in Champions League action. The game ended in a draw of 0-0 but don't be fooled by the score as it was a very good game and both teams missed chances to score.
        • In the other Champions League quarterfinal, Bayern Munich beat Marseille in France with a goal from Gomez and a goal from Robben.
        • Prediction: I see Chelsea, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Bayern Munich making it to the next round.
        College Basketball: New Feature!
        • Both final fours for this year's tournaments have been set. In the men's tournament Kansas will play against Ohio State and the other match-up will feature Louisville and Kentucky. In the women's tournament all the #1 seeds made it to the Final Four as Baylor will square off with Stanford while Notre Dame will play against UConn.
        Predicting tonight's games:
        • NBA
        • Pacers over Capitals
        • Dallas over Miami
        • Portland over New Orleans
        • Thunder over Lakers
        • NHL
        • Capitals over Bruins
        • Toronto over Philadelphia
        • Bolts over Devils
        • Pittsburgh over New York (Islanders)
        • Panthers over Wild
        • Chicago over St. Louis
        • Coyotes over Sharks
        Noteworthy thing of the day:
        • Here is a fail of the MLB Network as they didn't know who was the minor league player on third base for the St. Louis Cardinals and hilariousness ensued.

Stat of the day: New Feature!
        • Carmelo Anthony and Iman Shumpert both had 25 points and the bench was very important for the Knicks as Novak scored 16 and J.R. Smith scored 12. This is what the Knicks need. It's all around team effort.

          NFL:
          • New Orleans manager Sean Payton who has been banned for the year by the NFL has contacted Bill Parcells to take control of the Saints this year.
          • Roger Goodell defended Jeremy Shockey as he said he isn't the whistleblower. If you didn't know Jeremy Shockey has been accused of being the player that told the NFL about the bounties.
          • The commissioner also said that the New Orleans Saints have been lying the past few weeks as he defended the Saint's harsh punishment.
          • Tim Tebow was introduced as a New York Jet today. Mark Sanchez says that he isn't worried of losing his spot but when a team has a conference about a back-up QB, it means something. Watch out Mark.
          NBA:
          • This year's NBA draft class became even better as Austin Rivers is leaving Duke just after a year of playing for them. Good decision?
          • Very bad news for Knicks fans as Amar'e Stoudemire is out indefinitely with bulging disk in the back. Oh no. I'm having flashbacks to last year's series against Boston in which Amar'e had back problems and missed a lot of playing time.
          • Michael Pietrus of the Boston Celtics is also out indefinitely with a concussion after his fall against the 76ers.
          MLB:
          • Fausto Carmona of the Indians, who was arrested for false identity this past January, will lose $4.5 million in guaranteed salary this year.
          • In other Cleveland Indians news, Vladimir Guerrero worked out for them.
          • All signs point to Magglio Ordonez retiring. Nothing is official yet.
          • Chipper Jones underwent successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, the Atlanta Braves announced.
          • Bobby Valentine has denied that there is a rift between him and the Boston Red Sox's general manager and called the reports "lazy journalism".
            Soccer:
            • Wayne Rooney scored in the 42nd minute and that was all Manchester United needed to beat Fulham. United move further up in the Premier League table as its main threat, Manchester City, played Saturday against Stoke City in which the result was a 1-1 draw with an amazing Peter Crouch goal.
            College Basketball: New Feature!
            • The Final Four has been set! The four teams are the following: Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Kansas Jayhawks and Ohio State.

            • T'Wolves over Grizzlies
            • Dallas over Houston
            • Spurs over Suns
            • Oklahoma City over Portland
            • Warriors over Lakers
            • NHL
            • Maple Leafs over Hurricane
            • Chicago over New Jersey

            • New York (Rangers) over Minnesota
            Noteworthy thing of the day:

            • Caleb Hanie, former Chicago Bears backup quarterback has signed a two year deal with the Denver Broncos.
            • The New Orleans Saints signed linebacker Curtis Lofton to a five year deal. This must spell trouble for Jonathan Vilma.

            • The Chicago Bulls punched a playoff ticket on Saturday night as they beat the Toronto Raptors. Luol Deng scored a very impressive buzzer-beater to give them the win.
            • David Stern could actually not have been the man who vetoed the Chris Paul to the Lakers trade as Marc Stein of ESPN reports that Jason Smith of the New Orleans might have been the one who vetoed it. Yes, it is the same Jason Smith that got banned two games by the league for his flagrant foul on Blake Griffin.
            MLB:
            • Trouble in Boston? There is apparently a growing tension between general manager Ben Cherington and manager Bobby Valentine.

            • Bobby Jenks of the Boston Red Sox was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run last Friday.
            • There are three bidders remaining in the race for the Los Angeles Dodgers ownership. The three remaining are: Stan Kroenke (owner of the St. Louis Rams), Steve Cohen (billionaire, hedge-fund manager) and Magic Jonhson (NBA Legend).
            • Chipper Jones' last season will not start well as he will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.

            • Joba Chamberlain injured himself while playing on a trampoline with his son and will probably miss all of the season but he lost so much blood on the incident that he almost lost his life. Wow. Get well Joba.
            • David Wright of the New York Mets could finally make his Spring Training debut on Tuesday.
